No legal expert, but I think that is to stop new buyers building extensions before the original developer has sold off all the properties.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It's an old house. The Covenants were put in place to protect the landowners land and property so his workers couldn't turn them into slums or make a mess of the houses basically.
Definitely not put in place by a modern developer.0 -
...but legally still enforceable (probably)
And we know someone has already brought it up, so it cannot just be ignored!0
