Job interview - Parking fine.

Hello, just wondering if I could get a little advice on the parking ticket I received.
I was at a job interview in December with around 10 other people parking outside the venue the interview was held at. After being sat in there for over an hour one of us noticed we were all getting parking tickets.
The manager holding the interview simply stated it was private land and he gets them all the time and the best thing to do is to ignore them and theyll stop?
I didnt like that idea and I appealed then £160 fine when I got home, and they ignored my appeal and now "Debt recovery plus" have sent me a letter threatening court action unless I pay in the next two weeks.
I only discovered this forum today and the tips ect to say in my appeal and not give my name ect, but as I've already sent a basic appeal and they have my name.. I'm not sure what to do next?
Thanks.

Name of the parking company please? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

UKPC is the name, thanks.0

UKPC are fairly harmless. Have they given you a POPLA code? If so use it citing the usual points of no genuine pre-estimate of loss and their lack of standing regarding site ownership to bring such actions. .What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Sorry I'm abit new to all this, wouldn't know where to find my POPLA code? Appreciate the help.
Also I've been reading about and people have said that they usually stop after 6 months with the letters, but recently they've actually been pursuing the fines in court?
It's actually my dads car but I'm insured on it, he doesnt drive it we just put it in his name so my insurance wouldn't be sky high, but obviously my dad is panicking about this fine.
Thanks.0 -
For a start it's not a "fine", it's an invoice. Have you actually received a reply from UKCP following your appeal to them? If so, then they should have enclosed a POPLA number? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

No they ignored my appeal and then I received the letter for "Debt recovery plus"0

Then just ignore. This will never get to court. Tell your father to stop worrying .What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

It's not a fine!
Look for a 10 digit code somewhere in the reply from UKPC.
If you didnt get one, or the DR+ is the only communication you've had, then a search for "UKPC" and "Debt Recovery Plus" in this forum will give you a good idea of what to do next..... plenty of cases in here.

Thanks for the help.
I was just worried as I'd already sent an appeal before seeing this forum about the correct response to make, then not getting a response only a debt recovery letter I thought it was time to look on the internet for help.
@Mark they already know I'm the driver from my appeal I sent which they ignored, should I still respond what you put? or just ignore?0
