looking for a group of cottages - how to find?

We are planning a small wedding and would like to rent some accommodation for both of our immediate families. We are looking in the peak district, Leicestershire and down toward Rutland & Cambridgeshire.
There will be 12 adults and 2 small children.
Every search we do for 'group of cottages' brings up large cottages that accomodate 12 +.
We think it would be a nightmare to have all of us in one house, so instead would like 2-3 cottages grouped together, preferably with a shared outside area. Is there any way to search for this without getting just big houses?
Any tips appreciated.

I don't have any searching tips, but I stayed somewhere similar for work a few years back (several of us had each been rented a cottage by the organisation we were freelancing for). I can't find that particular one now, but this one looks similar, and is in Cambridgeshire?

I googled cottage complex or collection of cottages. Sykes have a section,so to do big-cottages.comLife is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Barnsdale Lodge might be worth a look, it has hotel rooms but also 3 bedroom cottages

Cottages for you do group properties too: http://www.cottages4you.co.uk/info/cottage-complexes
or we usually look at groupaccommodation.com and have booked quite a few holidays using that site.Lea
