You still haven't read bowlhead's post #12 or, even his post #37, have you?
Perhaps you have and just don't understand it!
Your beginning to sound like a parrot.
I have read ALL the posts on this thread of which your`s is the least constructive.
You and Bolhead99 are well entitled to your opinions, as I and everyone esle is.
My opinion is NW rates are rubbish and for most of the last decade always have been.
If I can get a better rate elsewhere that`s where I go.
The same for car/home insurance, energy, phones or anything else, a better deal/rate wins. (that is what this site is about
money saving.
As NW have prooved by hacking rates,"loyalty" is dead.0 -
As I said, you're here for a rant. That's fine, I have been known to do it myself. The difference is, that I like to be supported by facts.0

ooooh [insert gif of 'handbags at dawn' here]
Long story short, the rates have been reduced or will be reduced just like various other places have reduced or will reduce their rates. At some point in the future, rates will change again up or down and products will appear or disappear. Those people who want to shop around will do so. Some other people may already be in the best place for their needs; or may be in the best place for part of their needs while using other organisations for other needs.
There is not really anything else that needs saying0 -
Agree with an earlier comment about Coventry BS. Although they have also reduced their rates recently, they still beat Nationwide by a margin. In my opinion the Nationwide has become more like a bank over the last few years in all but name.0

Yes, life's too short - I always give up after making my point the first eighteen different ways
But the same attitude that makes me not get worked up about Nationwide cutting rates allows me to not get worked up about people disagreeing.
You always come across people who don't agree with your perspective and 2010 is perfectly entitled to say that Nationwide aren't the provider of choice for him/her because of XYZ. It's just a bit of a joke when people sensationalise things to make a point. A BILLION POUNDS! Eek!
I have a background in accounting and finance so have seen numbers with many many more zeros than my personal bank account - so I find it difficult to get worked up about companies making profits or businesses remunerating management etc.
Anyway that seems a bit OT.0 -
Well bowlhead99 at least you have given some useful input unlike the parrot who has posted nothing of substance whatsoever.
Basically four posts asking me about your posts.
Sometimes if you`ve nothing to say, then say nothing.0 -
