I have a 32gb Lexar usb and it has stopped me adding files to it- I get the message that the disk is write protected. This is a feature that I haven't turned on and I cant see hoe to turn it off. Help!

Has it got a tiny slide switch on the side that has got knocked to 'protect' by accident?
  • Lexar usb drives are notoriuosly bad even when they are legit. If have access to a Linux/Unix system, try to "fsck" it.

    fsck.vfat /dev/sdX1

where X is how the drive is seen by Linux.
