Direct approach to purchase home

Hi
A friends mother contacted me through Facebook as she is keen to view my house which is currently on the market.
We have recently switched agents and she went to my old agent who advised her we were no longer with them. She then came to me directly.
If she does decide to proceed will I still need to pay agent fees as she did not go to my new agent?? The only problem I have is that I did mention that I had received a direct approach whilst speaking to my agent and they did take a note of her name.

Read you contract, what does that say?0

Is your contract sole agency, sole selling rights, or ready, willing and able? The answer depends on what type of contract you signed, on what date, and what date did the potential purchasers approach you?
If the EA made a note of the name, this could suggest you have signed a sole selling rights contract. These are very aggressive, I would never sign one.0 -

Then you have signed away your rights to sell your own property.
As the EA has taken a note of the name of the potential purchaser, they can pursue you for their commission if you sell to this purchaser for the next two years.0
