Strangely the bees can look straight ahead no problem

So were my taxi duties but I've got to barter for baby sitting duties at the moment so a necessary inconvenience :rotfl::rotfl:

Not really.....DS1 'needed' a lift. He won't pay for taxis if he can help it which is good. I bet he forgets that at the end of the night though :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Hillbern doesn't your DD get discharged under the care of your local crisis team? If so you should ask them for help with stuff like this if you get stuck. I have, in the past been stuck for meds for OH. Couldn't go out and leave him alone and they were most helpful. They got the meds from the hospital pharmacy and brought them to us. If you have access to them it's worth bearing in mind for the future.

I will add I only ever did this once in a dire emergency. I'd say not having added stress when she's just been discharged is reason enough. Fancy discharging her without meds :( I hope she's on the mend and recovers soon.

No she doesn't, we keep going round and round in circles- last august she was suicidal she saw a doctor and we are still waiting for the follow up appoint, she was admitted to hospital this time through another branch of the nhs.
I was at work and said I would pick her up at 2.30pm I got home at 1.30 she rang me and said they wanted to discharge her and a nurse drove her home- I did tell her the previous evening to get a photocopy of her discharge letter which she did which had a record of her meds on it- the original strangely got lost so just as well she had what she had otherwise the local gp wouldn't have known what she was taking. The computer system at the hospital unit where she was and the local gp are different and don't link in with each other- ridiculous - that's the tip of the iceberg- she saw the consultant from the pain clinic several months ago and her meds were changed- she then 2weeks ago saw another pain clinic dr who prescribed her morphine patches for the pain, and said she could have them the following day, she has been ringing the pa everyday to no avail but has finally got another appointment for 20th of this month- what are you suppose to do in the mean time? fortunately this has kept her busy and she is keeping positive. as we all have to.
she has progressively worsened over the last few years and to make things more difficult her 14year old son lives with us and he is a nightmare!! So being on here reading all your stories good and bad is a tonic for me and seeing yours fc ...well I admire you and what you do, and you like me and many others on here positivity is the only way, as hard as it may seem we have all been there and have the t-shirt and are able to share our experiences.
:eek:Oh gosh I do ramble sorry for that x

That's one way of describing them :D
Can't believe I've spent most of the day messing around with cake mix and icing.
I don't know how PD does it, she probably makes twice as many as I've done today in half the time.
I like being creative every now and again, couldn't do it all the time :)

Jasmine had to have a worm tablet today. Normally she is fine with things like that but this time it must have got spat out at least ten times, so reluctantly decided to put it in cheese in the end (not really keen on her having non cat food). The cheese broke in two, so put the tablet in one piece, which she happily wolfed down. DH ate the other piece and for a split second his face was a picture when I said he'd had the bit with the worm tablet in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
