    A v M womble today

And that 2L Domestos is incorrect as well - they are £1.47 in M! May have associated a full price (£1.65 rather than £1) on a 1L version instead:(. I'm not liking some of this now current price collection, which we are now stuck with until next week, although at least the snack bars seem to be working.

81p per tub if it compares to M

Multi on A.com but not on MSM

    Phish Food only missing flavour.
But a's don't use msm for their price matches v m's so doesn't make a difference if the multi isn't on msm :(

I think it does. The multi may be a no-show, if msm didn't have it at the time of the 'midday' update, and makes a great deal of difference indeed - the issue is whether it will pick up M price; if it does not and has N/A then it would be a failure (though might not be as bad if a different B&J is picked with it and which then compares at full price vs £2 for M); however this would (I hope if updated on T pricing properly) compare at full prices for A vs £2.24 each at T.

It is risky though so I'll be sitting it out as I have 2 free peanut butter cup b&j's in the freezer already :) & the 2 for £7 multi has been available over the weekend

Multi not picked up on the 3 for £1 sweets
Pretty sure the sel for the bog blocks said 20p not 30 but I've only just noticed

Multi not picked up on 3 for £1? I see it picked it up - as those have appeared at a total of 3 for £1. I assume this comp. is versus Sainsbobs, as that's why the competitor price on the Cistern Blocks is so high:eek:.

Cistern Blocks are regularly 30p in A; SP Rim Block is usually 20p. RTC pricing somewhere may be found. I think SP Rim Block was OOS for A on parts of msm, maybe the whole of the APG system, quite recently, so I'm not sure if that appears or not if it is bought. The Cistern Blocks Blue clearly do appear; as usual, Sains. is a rip-off IMO!

In fact, latest I had from Sains - only today - was an email headed "£2 fruit packs and other great offers"!

    :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
They must be having a laugh! £2 for a pack of fruit! I'd expect £1 as the absolute maximum I would pay. Even that is on the high-side these days.

The industry terminology is "price differentiation", for example British Gas vs. Sainsbury's Energy. That a company therefore sets its prices according to the maximum that particulars of its customers are willing to pay. In order to make profit, businesses have to charge us as much as possible and try to get the maximum that we would pay from us.

Clearly something has gone wrong in terms of the price perception here. To imagine that I might perceive £2 as a "great" offer on a pack of fruit! All it achieves is to confirm and reinforce my perception that Sains' prices are way too high and a rip-off. I shall stick with much cheaper packs of fruit from elsewhere.

And - as I continue to pick and pick fault over specific, individual wording - like a lawyer in the application of the Ejusdem generis rule ("Things of the same type") - to use the word "other" as if to assume that "other [my important emphasis] great offers" and thereby suggest that £2 for a pack of fruit is a "great" offer...!:(

It seems to me to be a "great" offer only for a company that wants to take as high a price as possible from me! No thank you, I'm not having it!:)

As I might say...in my silly retort mode of operation... I do not accept the approach and I completely refute the assertion that this even amounts to a "great offer":p:p:rotfl:. I completely disagree - I could not disagree with them more strongly and emphatically: it's like a red flag to a bull for me and completely infuriates me to the point where I make such a retort in response!

Bet the "other" offers aren't "great" either - I haven't even bothered to open the email:rotfl:.

I did originally have the yogurt on a separate shop but while I was queuing I thought I'd check the price in S and took a punt on it working.
