Anyway I have had the most tedious morning possible.

Yesterday I transferred everything out of the old cardboard concertino folder systems into the shiny new metal file boxes (to replace the old ones which were falling to bits I started looking for replacements and in the first place I looked, a tiny WHSmith I found on clearance 2 lurid pink file boxes for £4.99 and they went through BOGOF :j )

so that was a couple of hours of tedium last night, laid everything out on the floor, archived old stuff, burnt some obsolete things and put some paper into the recycling and between us we filled the new file boxes, everything neat and tidy.

So this morning I thought I would also tackle 2 flat baskets of assorted rhubarb that had been building up for goodness how long. I burnt some old papers, some papers went into the new boxes, I archived more and I almost filed the shopping basket we use for waste paper.

Now I still have almost 3/4 of a basket left to sort out on another cold afternoon- how is that even possible that I now have more volume of rhubarb than I started with
Everytime I left the room it must have been dividing and multiplying :rotfl:

Has anyone else received the Kingfisher Beer and Curry Buzz pack yet?

Comes with some Naan Bread, some sauces to make a curry, some coupons for money off (not free) Kingfisher and a rather impressive Kingfisher pint glass.

One of the better Buzz packs

Yes I got mine this morning. Postie left it on the doorstep, didn't ring or knock and when I went out I nearly fell over it!!

Rhosynbach, I have not tried aloe vera in its raw state (yet!) but I look forward to the plants arriving as I have personally had a lot of good results with the pure aloe vera juice. I used to buy it from a large independent supermarket on the borders (way back when, in another life!) My last bottle was from a city health food shop. I expect to pay about £8 a bottle and there has to be a purity symbol on the packaging.

I have found it to be soothing especially on dry chapped lips in winter, where a little drop of the liquid does a better moisturising job in seconds rather than time spent applying lots of greasy lip balm. Lots of successful uses for me, but if I told you them all I worry that I would sound like a salesperson! I am also extremely reluctant to recommend anything to anyone in case it actually does not suit them eg my DD tried it and hated it.

I have never bought it from a MLM company. And never tried direct from the plant itself. There are different varieties of plant so I expect I will research those before experimenting with the plants! x
