Periods
The trick is to use periods in your Gmail address. Gmail doesn't differentiate between a valid Gmail address and the same address with periods inserted in it. For example, if your email address is myemail@gmail.com, messages sent to my.email@gmail.com and mye.mail@gmail.com will both end up in your inbox. You can also add multiple periods eg, m.y.e.m.a.i.l@gmail.com
@
The trick is to use a plus sign next to the @ sign in your gmail or googlemail address. Say, for example, your email address was myemail@gmail.com. Add a + sign within your email just after the name of the email account and put anything you wish after it. So you could use myemail+1@gmail.com or myemail+sue@gmail.com or myemail+asmanyvariationsasIwish@gmail.com. All these addresses will work and you’ll receive the email into your mailbox for myemail@gmail.com
Thanks for this. Really helpful. Zippy, I am glad it worked for you too!

No use - lots of 98p items bought and more: all the usual ones that lose out:(.
Plus the Strawberries again, still comparing to higher price at M, that looks like weight-adjusted price even though M's are outside of 10 weight range and ought not to be compared - but, then again, I suppose we've sometimes benefitted (very slightly:() when it has glitched the other way.
1 x ASDA Strawberries (400g)£1.50£2.67
Load of unnecessary items bought in my view (doubtless many of them impulse purchases that simply give the stores money by appearing to be good).
And this loses out substantially - and even more as it does not compare vs £1.50 price showing on msm at the moment:
2 x Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars - Canadian Mapl...£1.96£4.78
Maybe I will find later today that they have gone down to £1.50 in M only today - if so, I'm not taking much notice of £1.50 prices!
The only consolation is that M don't stock Diet Coke (according to the APG:D), but still, no use, overall shop loses out by several pounds vs M and even more vs everywhere else:
2 x Diet Coke (1.75L)£1.85N/A:rotfl:
£1.83 individual price - why would they want people to buy a further bottle for only 2p more? Presumably it's a promotion funded by Coca Cola? Or else they (A) really feel that they have to match the current price of T in store, but then, when they have the PG and don't have to be even as cheap as anywhere else, why would they need to do that?
And, with that, that's enough from me for now - bye and see you again later!:):wave:0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Are the Rice Krispies Squares etc. really straight £1.98 in A? £1 each showing for T. There is some new Kelloggs Coco Pops Porridge in M - wonder if it is available in A and if it's on an mbuy?
Also some new Magnums ice creams - Pink and Black - again, wonder if they could be avail. in A and triggers to the 2 for £3 frozen?
CEREALS- 3 FOR £3
Not any more - that changed 34 mins ago
There's loads in that multi that might compare but I've just picked out these 3...
Squarez (i only looked at totally chocolatey), coco pop and rice krispie snack bars are £1 at Tosco.
Should see £1.98 v £1 (£1.08 apg) for each £1 spent
Early shopping required... that's before roughly 6am! (shop at own risk)
edit to add: A bunch of special K bars are in this too it would seem.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
Wow, so much good news at the moment :j :j
When did qoc and misery guts get hitched?
Good question :rotfl::rotfl: the thought was there and that's the main thing :A
