Why do apples last for 9 months in the warehouses/shelves and then only last a few weeks, even in the fridge, at home - why don't they ever last 9 months, or a year, at home?

I'm still using my homegrown onions from last year.I've got about 2kgs left.

Other packs of pasta now on 59p everyday price in M - why are they mentioning only the individual price on their promotional material and not the mbuy pricing? Seems very expensive given that other, different pasta of same size just reduced to clear at 39p the week before:rotfl:. I've ended up going with the 3Kg version on my list - though even then it's dear! So - SP 500g Pasta Shapes vs 29p maybe:rotfl::rotfl:

Sadly that Colgate Acti-clean rose from £1 on Sunday to £2.49 on Monday!

All those mbuys on the receipt - I bet it lost out! (I've not sat here and calculated it.)

Some nice confirmations of items vs M. Including the S/P Chicken Breast Fillets actually being picked up but could always disappear again, the Custard Donuts mbuy (whoopsies could be cheaper) and those specific Princes Pies. It looks like the Malted Wheaties may be about to go up from 97p to any 3 for £3, it doesn't seem any use to us but just to let you know of, what may be, another price increase.

Wonder if those pesky Steak and Gravy Pies might actually pick up a 2 for £3 M mbuy pricing on them (albeit adjusted slightly upwards on weight), assuming they are the frozen ones?

Kinder Surprise Egg might go onto same mbuy as T (2 for £1.20) tonight - but concluded that, and at very low weight 20g, any "saving" even on a glitch, isn't worth it. Stick with the 9p Cadbury eggs from earlier:rotfl:.

I know, we saw them in Costco and they are gorgeous but would never dream of paying even a very small fraction for a teddy
