You can claim them but whether you get them or not depends on how robust the system is built. I'd say there might be a glitch :cool:0 -
Just before I go, just looking at my former note on the M list about the Dr Oetker pizzas (I've now deleted the note), and they have indeed gone onto the "inevitable 2 for £4". I've noticed the price change in A, so looks like that one was missed:( (unless anyone did manage to get out between midnight and 6am some recent day) - hopeless:(:(:rotfl: - I've updated the A pricing on the M list but seems not very good now:rotfl:.
Bye for now!:wave:0 -
Have you joined MSE's Energy Club?
They've done really well by us and remind us when any deals are about to end, what penalties are, and what might be cheaper. I've switched twice in just the last four months thanks to them, and it's pretty hassle-free. They remind you exactly which deal you're on and what your average consumption is, and so on.
Yes, I've switched quite recently but been waiting days, and now into weeks, for the switch to complete on the Cheap Energy Club (despite the switch now being completed) - it's still making the assertion that it won't be long until it's completed. It's now gone to a saving of £9 per month that I could be making on a new deal (instead of £2 per month that it was before) but won't let me switch until the Cheap Energy Club system has updated. Come on, hurry up! Is there any way I can hurry it up? It's now almost three weeks since the new supply started - why is the completion on the Energy Club taking so long? Is it relying on the energy companies? I think they are dragging their feet:(.0 -

Unfortunately just nearly finished typing something, then the page reset:mad::mad::mad:. So I'll summarise: I managed to get some of the Savers Ham tins some time back, at 39p each. I opened one and it was horrible - I didn't even try to eat the product once I'd opened the tin and seen it. I wouldn't feed it to a dog:eek:. It was that bad. Sometimes money-saving goes too far and it turns out not to save any money at all. I bought 8 tins:eek:. So that's over £3 wasted. So it is back to the Ye Olde Oak for me, even though quite bit more expensive at its best - Savers would equate to 58.5p for the 300g Olde Oak instead of its price of 90p (with 10% cheaper at other times) - much nicer.
I had a look later at an old thread about "Value" items that people liked/did not like - seemed someone posted on one of those and they didn't like the Savers ham either. I don't know if T Eday value is much better - but I feel it's now well past the period when it might have compared against 39p at M, even though it is technically hanging around in some M stores but not others.0 -
Only just caught up on the news!!!

I'm misreading it (not for the first time). This is probably not a usual experience - in fact it's not a saving of £9/month, I've already saving that, but the new deal that would have ended Feb 2016 (and extended my now current one by a month) would have been £2/month saving. That's now been pulled:( - and the new one, ending March 2016, doesn't save anything on my current one, it's the same price! So, Cheap Energy Club by failing to allow me to switch again quickly enough, has cost me £24 per year plus lost me another £30 in cashback.:( Total £54 lost by being unable to switch as waiting until the system says my switch is complete and allows me to switch again. It's a 'small' amount as not paying much in the first place, but nonetheless I could have saved even more if the CEC had allowed me!
Do I need to keep with the current deal for 3 months to get the £30 cashback? Says CB paid after 3 months? I'm not extending the deal by two months in order to get £30. But I would have switched, and done so, if it had been £2/month cheaper gas/elect. as well.0 -

I'm afraid I think the energy companies control the pace of this. I found the club would let me change within a month or two of starting a new tariff (other people have done this).
