Have you joined MSE's Energy Club?
They've done really well by us and remind us when any deals are about to end, what penalties are, and what might be cheaper. I've switched twice in just the last four months thanks to them, and it's pretty hassle-free. They remind you exactly which deal you're on and what your average consumption is, and so on.

No I'll need to persuade my mother to do that. I didn't know what was happening until today. She tends to bottle things up and it takes a lot of work for her to spill the beans.
