TS am on iPad and can't open PMs. Too tired to unpack the computer but will look tomorrow.

Have been away for work and came home via Stevenage Tosco. Was exhausted as hadn't slept last night and needed evil food to keep me going on the journey. Bought Doritos and hot cross buns (had grapes already!) and was near nuts. Kicked myself for not paying attention to 1p items but my local never has them and RL has been too full for shopping anyway. Saw Thai sweet chilli nuts and little light bulb went off in head. Not too hopeful as I've only ever had one 1p item before, went to SS to check. 1p!!! Left till and went back to grab all 7 boxes. Were a few of another flavour but decided not to risk it. Back at SS till made rookie mistake of scanning nuts first ( didn't want to squash Doritos) and out of corner of eye saw SA hovering. Ignored her and scanned. Heard voices: 'those nuts are scanning at 1p!' '1p?!' 'Yes, 1p!' Pretended not to hear as one SA seemed to move away (to find supervisor? To clear shelf? Almost wet myself with the effort of looking unconcerned and normal!). Paid and made exit as fast as poss without running! So excited about my nuts! How sad is that? Waiting for phone call and then to bed as am shattered

I ve bookmarked it. It s only recently that I realised I had a problem with hoarding. Let me just add it's nowhere near as bad as those on the tv programmes. However now I can see what others have seen for years and I'm doing something about it. Bootsales don't help with all the cheap stuff lol. Now I stop and think do I really need whatever. I'm not ready to get rid of all my things but I've stopped buying more of the same and I get rid of what I'm happy with.

One drastic step is to move to a much smaller house, like they do in Tiny House Nation, on TV

200 square-foot homes with a total (I repeat, a total) of ten cubic feet of storage space - for everything:eek::D

    You are most welcome.

The first post of this thread has info on fillers.

Essentially when you are doing a shop you need to have enough items for a comparison to be possible. So for instance if you are buying glitchy pringles you should have 10 different flavours for a comparison to be possible. Any less and the apg machine will tell you that you do not have enough items for it to do a comparison.

However, if only 2 flavours of pringles are glitching, you will need to buy other items to make up the other 8 items for the comparison. These extra items are called fillers. We generally try to get fillers that are under 50p per item otherwise your apg will be eaten up by the cost of the fillers. Some folk try for 10p per item, so tend to buy the 10p sweets.

If it also necessary to buy fillers when buying any targetted shop that has a trigger as often triggers are invisible, and thus cannot be one of the items that form part of the comparison.

Thank you for all the help! I've read the useful links on the first post too :)

Do all the filler items have to be different?

Ok guys, I have some good news :D and some potentially very, very bad news..:(

First, the good news. The JF oils have left the 3 for £9 offer and are back in the 3 for £10 offer..:D:D

    14k8577.png

The potentially very, very bad news is that the oils have been £2.50 in M on mse throughout the good times and I can't find them now, nor can I find them on the morries website..:(

However, as I am a very charming (though slightly overweight) Scotsman, I have taken one for the team and bought a couple with an Impulse Sweet Smile to see what is going on.

Results in a couple of hours..

why have you not got the price alert set :rotfl:

One I can actually answer :)

Yes. You need 8 unique items for the APG to work.

Like the pringles glitch, 8 different flavours counted as 8 unique items as they are different products.

8 packs of original would only be 1 of the 8 required

I missed springdreams post but thanks for posting this, I've gone and taken a look at what you quoted.

I've always been a hoarder since childhood, not to the extent that would make it onto TV either, but struggle giving up on anything that has a potential use or resale value.

I only have a small stash but realise it's mainly stuff I had intended to sell on FB / ebay etc.

Ofc I'm glossing over the loft which is full to the rafters with useful stuff

    Good luck with your decluttering!
