Remember it's the last orange Wednesday ever this Wednesday. PD and I are gonna go and give it a proper send off. What's out at the cinema that isn't balls?

I saw at the weekend that Vue are offering 2 for 1 in March on Wednesdays as their version of this.

I find the garlic bread isn't that nice. Once it's been cooked and out of the oven a few mins I find it really chewy :(
Won't stop me buying it though :D

If it's cheap, the kids can eat it !

Thought I was doing something wrong, you got £4.24 for the meals too.
2 lots of 5p on the juices and 25p on the packet mix.
Still makes it £1.76 for both curries and the garlic breads. Bargain :T
Forgot to thank Tallulajo for finding it :T

    It's a bargain!
They are perfect for when I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to cook. The garlic breads shoukd be really yummy as well.
    Excellent find tallulajo :T

I am wondering if the garlic breads would be good as a pizza base - passata smeared over the top, peppers, maybe chillis, pepperoni, more cheese, more garlic ...

    Has anyone experimented?

  • Thanx to all who mentioned the 2p Shades at A. Went out in my lunch break and got a dozen packs. Its spring soon and I have a DD and hubby who have terrible allergies so these will soon be gone. What an andrenalin rush it was putting all these through at the self service but all went well.:T:T:j:j

Last time I went you can print a voucher from the temporary family card machine.

Totally agree with the above. I also think adults should stay away from work when they're ill so as not to pass their germs onto others. I also think that not staying home resting makes the illness linger longer, whether it be a cold or sickness.

The problem is that some companies such as where I work and also OHs employers will not pay people when sick. OH cannot afford to take time off unpaid so goes in when he should be home resting  IMO the Government should force employers to pay employees for being off sick.

Hospitals say for staff, visitors and patients to stay away for 48 hours after the last episode of D and/or V

  • OMG redrose, looks like you have found an absolute cracker..:beer:

Msm and A.com both look like they are part way through updating and we are now after the lunchtime update, so if this worked for your dad earlier, I reckon this will be good to go all day and right through to tomorrow early am.

    Tell your dad well done..:T

Thanks, he's a muggle shopper so it was quite by accident, my hubby saved the receipt from him though as he just bins them.
