I also think the Salad Creams, if they have not already been, are now going to be risky vs M (the ones that have been 15p in M). Now got very little stock. The Mayonnaises (the 25p ones for M) may also be on their way out - been available in progressively fewer M stores for me and now no evidence of them left in most of my stores. It's a guide as to what might be perhaps. (When I say "no evidence of them" I mean no SELs and no stock. Whereas if a SEL is there, even if there is no stock in that store, that is 'evidence' of their existence even if that store has no stock. So, there's a difference - another subtle one:D - between out of stock (which may compare as may be available in other stores) and no evidence at all of a product which, if they have that, it's going to be N/A. Or, until we reach the point where we start concluding that M no longer stocks them at all. Actually, that's more the Ocado price match (vs T) but - I don't know if they find no evidence at all of something on a price collection if they immediately go N/A or whether it kicks around until consistently nothing over a couple or three collection days for instance - I suspect APG, in such a situation, might go N/A straight away (i.e. as soon as that's updated) as they do go N/A and back again sometimes from collection to collection.

Anyway - I think Salad Creams are now going to become risky, if they are not already, and Mayonnaises may be on their way out as well, even assuming they've ever been comparing (none of my wombles has bought the right ones to enable me to see - they always have picked the wrong size:(, the one, presumably, that looks best on A's price instore but, as ever, looks may likely be misleading and could be far better in other size at M, or even Avs M previously if we knew. If only we did:rotfl:.))

Ooh I bet the pair of you can have lots of fun with a triangular bandage:rotfl:

Did you know that bandages go out of date? Makes no sense to me.

Sterile bandages are enclosed in plastic and plastic is gas permeable, over time air leaks in through the plastic, eventually enough air is calculated to have passed through the plastic that they cannot be considered sterile, so the bandage becomes out of date.

Costa Roast & Ground Coffee (200g) is going.

I was offered a choice of two SELs for that in a single store (it's getting like Mr A and the Pepsi previously:rotfl:):

Now £3 (big red background) and [Strike]£4[/Strike]:naughty:

    Other SEL said £3.49.

So, how could it have been £4 before, looks like it may have been £3.49 previous price or maybe that is now the current price?

Last time I had them on the list at £2.50 - so that is a price increase from £2.50 to £3 (or maybe to £3.49), even though one of the SELs has crossed-out £4, suggesting down from £4 to £3 and a saving of £1. At any rate, if it has been £4, maybe over the weekend, it's not been £4 for the entire period of the last two weeks.

With supermarkets generally, a "saving" of £1, as you should know, is likely to mean costing you more - on this occasion by 50p: or 75p if bought in A previously and if it compared against M's previous offer price. Some people may think this - through their own lack of knowledge and their own misunderstanding - but the red bordered £3 is not an offer price. The offer was before, when it was £2.50 - and either way it's now gone up from that and is more expensive on whatever shelf price M has it at!

The Nescafe Original 200g + 50% extra free may still be £3.99 in M, although you may have trouble finding the 'extra free' jars now. (And of course don't bother with the straight 200g as they are way too expensive:rotfl:.)

EDIT: The Costa Roast & Ground, according to msm, is £3.49 in M. So, it looks like the "£3 [Strike]£4[/Strike]" is an old SEL that has somehow found its way onto the shelf after the previous price of £2.50. Otherwise, the £3.49 straight SEL would give the lie to it being £4 previously. Gone up - from £2.50 offer to £3.49 (and but for the errant 'offer' SEL with the £3 wouldn't have been any attention drawn to the price increase of course. I note there is never a crossed-out £2.50:rotfl:. Glad Savvy is putting the record straight and promoting to you when the supermarket prices have gone up - perhaps only fair, for the sake of balance:rotfl:!).

a small womble from 21/02 - didn't produce anything but might be some suggestions for a !!!!!! conditional spend shop

    sada v !!!!!!

    1 x ASDA British Whole Milk 4 Pints (2.27L) £0.89 £1.00
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Garden Peas in Water (300g) £0.37 £0.40
    1 x Stork Original Spread (1Kg) £2.00 £2.00
    1 x Cadbury Flake (4 per pack - 76g) £0.92 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Orange Squash Double Strength w... £1.00 £1.25
2 x ASDA Chosen by You Apple & Blackcurrant Squash Dou... £2.00 £2.00
    2 x ASDA Chosen by You Malted Milk Biscuits (200g) £0.67 £0.78
    1 x ASDA Washing Up Liquid Lemon (1L) £1.00 N/A
    1 x ASDA Chosen by You Custard Creams (400g) £0.33 £0.65
    1 x Cadbury Crunchie Bars (4 per pack - 128g) £0.92 £1.79

Comparison total (compared products only) £8.18 £9.87

Another suggestion - as it looks like S/P Crumpets aren't available anymore? - is the standard range of T Crumpets (6 pack) - had them on a womble showing A 37p vs 59p at T. Boo:( - it's showing they are called "Extra Thick" crumpets on msm, so maybe T would see them as non-comparable. Showing 35p for Aldi. Alright then - buy in M vs Aldi:p! (That's if M have standard-range 6 pack crumpets - or, just buy Village Bakery crumpets in Aldi! The price might not be slightly as good as the K/Mill on glitch in A some while ago - whoopsies may be cheaper - but otherwise seems Aldi is the place for Crumpets, if you don't want to be got buying loads more on 2 for £1:eek: in A, even though they work to 33.33..p per 6. When buying 18 (2 packs of 9).)

Sorry my initial suggestion didn't work:o:o.
