I complained on their Facebook, and also in an email on the M site, that's why I got two lots of compensation lol
They don't have to know you cleared the shelf, but so what if you did, just say they were for a party.
I love having a moan at these companies :rotfl:

Now, it takes time for water to be pure enough to be deemed Highland Spring. An extraordinary 15 years trickling its way through the basalt in fact. After all that time together it’s no surprise that it takes on some of the rock’s characteristics – minute quantities of minerals that makes Highland Spring taste so refreshingly…Highland Spring.

Be careful of those dates ;)

Afternoon Elite. Nice and sunny but very windy here, and the two hunky men from the council are up the top of the trees out front cutting them back ..... swaying from side to side as they cut off branches and then trim back the trunk. I don't envy them their job today ...... or any day come to thing of it
I'm not a vegan, but I've done a fair bit of vegan baking/cooking. It's taken me a long while to get my head around it. Like simple things such as vanilla extract - some vodkas are filtered through bone char and most vanilla extracts you get on the market are made with vodka so you never know. I daren't become a vegan, I think I would get a little obsessive checking everything! Even some pills like Ibuprofen can contain gelatine in them. :)

    Good morning all

My sis in law is vegan, I am veggie. Eating or drinking out with her is an experience that takes a bit of practice.

Once stood at a till in Starbucks for ages whilst staff had to get food info sheets to check if a cookie was vegan!

Ordering soy latte is an art form - the soy milk froths more than normal milk so it has to be made extra wet and you have to wait for it to settle to get it topped up or risk only getting half the drink you paid for.

I have known her to return tablets to pharmacy because they are coated (usually made from little critters)

Easter eggs don't always state if they are veggie so care has to be taken there.

Footwear needs to be checked to ensure all man made - see veggie shoes.com and get ready for the prices!

Makeup needs to be checked. Even if there is nothing in it of concern, the contents will have been tested on animals. If you are vegan as you don't want to harm animals then this is an issue. Same with shampoo etc.

    The list goes on :)

Thanks for replies PD and Sakura, and Evangeline too. My eyes were opened when talking to my cousin who is vegan and finding his difficulty in finding a man-made bow tie for the dress-up evenings. Well silk is made from the silk threads of the silkworm isn't it? No harm there ..... except for the fact that they boil it all up, thread and silk worm all together so silkworms are killed to get their silk threads  :( so much to think about

To be honest, I don;t think I can go as far as totally vegan, too much to take into account, but I feel that I can continue to not eat any meat or fish or eggs quite easily, cutting out dairy is my sticking point at moment but I am getting there on that one, with soya yoghurt and vegan cheese. I will not buy any more leather products but will continue to use my leather handbags and shoes. I don't use make up so that is not an issue but I am much more aware of cruelty free products now than I was

The thing is, with my dog rescue work, I see so much of what goes on in this aspect that I feel that I can no longer ignore it so had to make this choice. However I am not one of those who argues with meat eaters and such like, and am content with me doing what I feel is right, without lecturing others about what they are eating or wearing. Only exception to that is fur
