    Thank you for your help.

    1. I understand the trigger and 2 for £2 deal now you have explained it. Unfortunately, the trigger is not showing for a C&C from my store so sadly can't partake in this one.

    2. Cod, is it prepared fresh or frozen and what size is it please? I have one showing 260g in the 2 for £7 multi buy but that shows £15.38kg so don't think this is the right one.
    Thank you again.

That may be part of the reason why it's not on msm yet - sometimes these triggers aren't available online but can still be bought if doing an instore shop.

It's Cod Portion 150g, from the fish counter. £2.50 and 2 for £4 (not as good as it was on one brief afternoon, when still 2 for £3 instore but had gone back to 2 for £4 online. Now 2 for £4 in both). Allegedly fresh - although your idea of "fresh" might not always coincide with that of supermarkets:rotfl::

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2846668/Supermarkets-selling-fresh-fish-s-really-15-DAYS-old-Experts-said-food-four-Britain-s-biggest-chains-start-taste-just-day-fridge.html

Could taste off after a day in the fridge. Which is presumably why they put a 'use by' date on it of the day after you purchased it. I've never had any problems - but then I've always followed these use by dates (or, occasionally, put into the freezer).

Obviously, unlike "Customers" in the Daily Mail article, I don't assume that "fresh" fish was caught yesterday or a few days ago. Instead, I assume it's possibly 15 days old:rotfl:. Or - the year before - possibly even worse:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2509010/Supermarket-fresh-fish-THREE-weeks-old.html

Apparently, it could be three weeks old then. Is that consistent with their more recently saying it could be 15 days old yet still only a day away from going off?
