Thanks bubbs, long process- but she is getting there, depression is a horrible unseen illness- where if you had a broken leg people would know you were suffering and poorly- not that she wants sympathy but she is fed up with people telling her to pull her socks up and smile- if only they knew!! she also had legs ulcers due to an undiagnosed dvt and a type of malaria whist on honeymoon 4 years ago- therefore pain, ulcers, depression and suicidal - a vicious circle
and shes only 32. It impacts on the whole of the family, but I try not to let it get me down
((Hugs)) to your DD and the whole family X0 -
PD sorry didn't reply to your text last night I was bit shattered when I got back. DD3 was keeping me updated lol.
So sorry to hear about the young lady so awful for the parents you never expect your children to go before you.
But it is lovely that some of her wishes are coming true. :A Was that the Primark on Oxford St. DD3 wanted to go there when we stayed in London before xmas. It is huge
No worries. They stayed near Stratford Westfield so that one. That one on Oxford Street is known as 'the jungle' as it's usually filled with animals :rotfl: It was fun when it first opened, made my days at M&S rather quiet'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Yes I see what's happened. Lots of RL stuff to sort out now so can't be enduring and enjoying (but I'm sure I'll enjoy the RL:rotfl:).
Bags of veg. - way to go!:rotfl:
Msm shows M at 99p Savvy Buy on these, but they're not comparing. (They are the 375g bags.) Instead, a different product compares vs 99p:
ASDA Broccoli & Cauliflower Florets (400g)
£1.25 £3.13 / Kg
99p
I thought at one moment there was a glitch and that the frozen 1Kg Cauliflower/Broccoli was going vs M at 99p; however it is not, it is these 400g 'fresh' ones. Even the fresh ones are too dear for me (99p-10%). The bags, as usual, are more expensive as people keep buying them all the time. Reminds me of this page, which I can pretend I saw three years ago, but actually only saw the other day:
https://hat4uk.wordpress.com/2012/01/04/revealed-how-tescos-dirty-tricks-con-the-shopper-into-paying-more/
I disassociate myself from the title of the link - I do not say that they are "dirty" tricks or that they are "conning" anyone. The issue was that T was marking some products with labelling of "Best seller" and that this was actually a worse price than other pack sizes. It is another very clever psychological device on the part of the supermarket, which like all supermarkets is there to get people to buy and buy and to pay as much as possible in order to make them profits. The "best seller" label is yet another label that attracts people's attention and they assume it must be a good deal. After all, lots of people are buying it!
I tend to think, if something is a best seller and lots of people are buying it, the assumption that is a good deal must therefore be completely wrong! I tend to start to think lots of people buy small bags of veg. that work out at very expensive prices and that indeed the vast majority of the public is completely stupid.
I notice one of the comments (19 December 2012) from someone who said they are a "mere customer assistant": "Their labels clearly state the price per litre etc so you can compare. If the higher price item is the best seller then clearly there are lots of stupid people.":rotfl:
Completely separately, the "Smart" (for the supermarket) price fish fingers went up to 70p:eek: yesterday - although fortunately we can still get the same price as before as long as T and M's prices don't increase. And the "Smart" price apples pack (a five pack in some stores but back to 4 now in my store:() has gone up in price today. I knew about this late last night as it was already on msm. I missed out on a £2 GC:( - SEL said 74p but, when I returned to the shelf to check after my shopping, they'd literally changed the SEL to the new price. Not too much of a surprise as the price had changed and it was obviously on their "to do" list. However, that's now £26+ I've lost to being two hours late on something!:(:( (Previous £24 loss was on those d/washer tablets that I was a couple of hours late for and then picked up the mbuy.) I should have got up a little earlier - sadly the world discriminates against night-owl chronotypes like me!
Sadly I'd spent too much time looking for another item during my shop, which I don't normally buy but I needed, and I did find it - but, as I suggested, I came back 20 minutes later and the SEL was now changed. It made me doubt as to whether I had seen 74p in the first place, although I'm "sure" I had, but, anyway, because of that, I gave them the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and didn't bother go to the CS. It was also the same CS as last time, although they were one that last time gave a £2 GC straight out without being asked. At least I managed to get the same price as before by comparing vs T.
Also the price of unleaded petrol at my A. 1p increase on Thursday. Another 1p increase today:(.
Saving you money every day!
(Fortunately, I filled up right to the top on the final day before the two increases - I thought the prices were about to rise and I was correct. After weeks of me putting in as little as possible - and then having to put more in sooner - as I thought the price might come down further. It never did - and when I got wind they were about to rise, I filled right up. However, nonetheless, it's merely putting off the day I feel. I note the petrol gauge has gone down by one notch already now:( - unfortunately being called out to pick people up twice:mad: when I've already just returned from that area - seems I am the taxi service for the family in this area:mad::mad: - and wondering if I should fill to the top again now, rather than waiting till I am nearly ran out as prices may be even higher then ("filling to top" is slightly less efficient as car weighs more and therefore gets fewer miles per gallon(?!?) (in old money - may as well be consistent and use imperial measurements on both;))). Not that the price rise makes too much odds - as a penny here and there, on a 60L tank, is only 60p anyway, so hardly makes too much difference. I wonder about how much higher they will be when I buy again though - and now to hold out as long as possible in the hope that there may have been a price cut announced by the time I do.)
I think that's it - just one long post, I've said everything and now going off again to do RL!:j:(:undecided:)0 -

Thanks Evangeline - had a go at the beer shop but none of the triggers in Killinghall, Leeds - no Lancashire beers but lots of local ones so thought I'd try one of those just in case but it still picked up the multi so just a little bit back - but still compares favourably for a filler.
On the other hand cod still working from 3.10pm shop today. £16.45 spend and £6.79 apg. HTHS
