She had her third round of chemo, but is doing amazingly, and fortunately it doesn't seem to be giving her too many problems.
We're hoping to go away for a couple of days for a girlie mini break at the end of march as long as it fits in with her treatment.
Glad her treatment is going well LSMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Her 12 year old brother doesn't fully understand, but with her dad, you can really see it in his eyes. There's a running joke between them where he calls her princess and she pretends to hate it. So after watching Cake Boss (where they make epic cakes), she said that he could call her princess on the condition that he makes her a shoe cake for her 16th birthday party. The specs were; it had to be 5 foot high, pink and covered in dots with ribbons too. He can't cook at all, but after 2 days constructed this massive cake to look like a shoe and it was amazing. Apparently everyone cried when they saw it and he made her wear a tiara for the rest of the party
You made me cry....a bit
Doesn't take much at times, well not tonight
Fab story.
The human spirit never ceases to amaze me. I have been looking at my kids tonight whilst they whipped my butt at Kinect bowlingand they amaze me. The only complaint I've had all this time is running out of kit kats. The house is a tip, they've had no sort of holiday from school and they still smile and give me a hug when I get home from spending not enough time with them :A
I bet it's been a very thought provoking few days for you and your brother0 -

I actually posted it to bring Zag backwhere are you Zag?
No, no apology needed, I'm singing along. Mr 3Dogs had the Hollies Hits on flash drive when he was ill, along with a very varied selection, and I often play this in the car, so nice memories :Tpurpledonkey wrote: »Yes and no to the sadness, more for her dad really as strange as that sounds. Think of you often FC and what you and your family are going through, but the way your family is pulling together to get each other through is amazing. Even when going through what seems like the very worst time of your life, you still need some release, to live your lives, in fact to enjoy your lives. So glad that your family allows this to happen. I know it is what got me through what happened to Alan. The humour and love in the house has to still be there, otherwise you will break .... and we don't want that do we!!Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
