  • Hi Savvy
Regarding the eggs the SA said as I approached the till that they were four per transaction. I duly split my shop into two separate transactions then she said it was four per customer and took 2 eggs off me! People were complaining about the lack of signage at the CS desk, May be because it was the first day of the offer and staff were confused? Used my match and more card so will try it again tomorrow and also ask at the customer service desk is it per transaction or customer. :)

It is 4 per customer but that doesn't stop you going back in for more.

LFAB well done on the circuits! That feeling when it's over is the BEST innit.

I reckon the hardest thing is actually starting and making it a routine. Did Arms and abs today. Had a little cry of frustration coz it hurt but just carried on. You get out what you put in and all that.

Nice to see FC around and to read some new DS2 tales :)

G'night all. And thanks to Nanny for the lovely compliment earlier. Proud that I'm even a little bit like you x
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

Change the story eh? Why can't they give the correct information at the outset (I mean the SA) rather than changing what they've said? They're lucky - if it was me, I'd have replied "Oh, so it's 4 per customer now? Why did you tell me a moment ago it was 4 per transaction and thuis give misleading information to me?":o:o:rotfl:

Other people's embarassment. Me - I'd just blurt it out but equally feeling a bit nervy myself - as not liking getting into the confrontation.

As far I'm aware this was at least the third day of the offer and not the first day at all. As far as I know they were 2 for £1.50 in M on Monday.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother with CS or making the enquiry about whether it is transaction or customer. I see it is irrelevant really (despite all the fuss I would have made at the time) and not really productive of achieving anything. I'd simply go to an M (perhaps another M, who knows) and just buy 4 next time.

Glad I see only two as being enough purchase for me (I know people have bigger families and extended families and friends etc.). If it was per customer, I'd bring every member of my household and friends with me - they can all buy four each:p:rotfl:! For me, we only need two, that's enough for us, and anymore is not saving money and is just waste of money on tempting items that really we don't truly need! (I know I am unlikely to succumb to advertising persuasion or to emotions that get us to buy more and more:rotfl:.)

Shortest answer ever savvy. You have just proved my point :p:D

Issue with water is that it's colourless. He wants a drink that has a colour....NOT GREEN  it's that simple

What about those mint flavourings or something that turn the water a different colour? I'm thinking those that you can add to mouthwash, but obviously you don't want to give him that.

Probably. But I've already concluded, long before even the offer came on, that even if it does it's still not worth it.

    10 for £3.00. Then 6 for £3 + 4 full price 68p vs 6 for £3 + 4 full price 68p elsewhere = £5.72 vs £5.72. Is just 57p:( off £3. Is £2.43 (or thereabouts) for 10 Mullers. Or 24.28p:eek: each.

Are there any 6 pack Mullers way better?:)

The other muller offer is 2 for £4, on the 4 packs not 6 packs.

    Msm has fruitopolis A [STRIKE]£2.48[/STRIKE] £1.50

So should be £2.48 and 2 for £4.

Do we trust the fruitopolis vs M ?

    £2.48 v £1.24 so £1.364 back on £2 spend 63.6p for a 4 pack of fruitopolis ?

Muller Bliss Corner are in the multi too.

    Msm has A [STRIKE]£2.68[/STRIKE] £1.50

    £1.34 in T (msm price)

    £2.68 v £1.34 so £1.474 back on £2 spend 52.6p for a 4 pack of Bliss Corner

    (ofc buy in 2s ;))

edit: midnight to 6am shops! ...when has finished now, everything on msm and presumably apg.

You know, I was just thinking to myself that there was a distinct absence of any bolognese sauces or anything in Savvys shopping.
:rotfl: at the pea though Savvy :DYou are meant to eat them, not snort them!!

I know - I was only a kid at the time and obviously somehow managed to get one stuck up there (maybe it bounced off my plate - I have no memory of that as it's so long ago). It was lucky actually - I think the doctor told me parents and they told me - they actually pushed the pea a little way into my nose and it happened to drop out! Very lucky.

You may not have been "just" thinking it - but then I've drawn a literal word out again. I would imagine some people have been thinking it for some time already.

:( So it's the 4 packs not the 6 packs? What a shame!

As for the 'Fruitopolis' I don't know what you mean at the moment so I'll go and have a look - find it out what it is. I don't know if we trust vs M, mind you we can't trust vs W comp. at the moment as it's obviously not been updated and is still on old Waities offers - looks like prices have changed on w.com yesterday but not in the system yet:( (or :) if we have any good old prices - not that we can now know what they are:mad::rotfl:).

EDIT: The Bliss Corner would appear to be better, even though T price on that is higher than M price on the other, due to A's apparent higher individual price. Probably midnight-6am this morning only.
  • Thanks for that will have to go in twice tomorrow. With 3 kids, 1 niece, 2 nephews and numerous cousins Easter is an expensive time!
Savvy you sound just like my DS2 he would have confronted too, glad he wasn't with me but he hates crowded places especially supermarkets for some reason. He is on spectrum too and attends 'special' school (hate that word!) Eats the same food for up to six months at a time, because his diet is so fixed and he can't tolerate change I have to give him multivitamins.
Anyway, away to bed now, hope everyone has a good day tomorrow :) goodnight all

Fruitopolis - don't know, never seen them before. Not that I look at expensive yogurts:rotfl: (on M straight price). These look very new - someone may find they have a comparison to M on a womble, but I don't think they'll pick up M if they are new.
