amazon instant not working

Hi, i can't get the Amazon Instant Video app to work on my sony bravia tv. Netflix and Iplayer work fine but when i try the amazon app i just get the following error message
"internet browser will be closed due to internal error"
As far as i know the software is up to date and the app has worked in the past.
Any ideas?
