any ideas of really strong glue or something else that will hold a clothes rail

What is the clothes rail made of and what are you hoping to stick it to?0 -
If its a wooden cloths rail, a good quality wood glue such as Evo-Stik.
If it's plastic, contact adhesive.I find Viagra saves peeing on my shoe.....0 -
its alaminium being attached to wood0

Then your better using a bracket ,especially as it is going to take weight.0
