Don't know. All I know is that councils (for example) do engage in these data matching exercises, and the result can cause a degree of grief to those flagged up as 'fraudsters'.

Terrifying. Very similar situation. I have decided against this, as it is just not worth the hassle for me or my mother.
I've just moved into a new place and plan to stay here for quite some time so will change all addresses to it.0
