Sky TV. . . Quick Question

Hi,
I was hovering on skys website the other day mulling over their packages, i was drawn to the £28 variety package and was aware that a 40% off code would probably be available through this site.
I started chatting to an adviser and when i mentioned the code said she would do it for 50% for the first year, in a nutshell i decided to go with this and got right to the end of the transaction to realise my wife (who's account the payment would come out of) didnt know her visa security password!
My question is, would i be offered the same deal if i went in store?
Thanks in advance

What store are you talking about? If you mean those shopping centre people who are 3rd party contracters then take the online deal as there are numerous stories of people been mis-informed by (or mis-understanding) these people who tend to be commission based.0 -
As in 'store' i mean the stand in my local shopping centre0

As above, those are usually freelance agents, if you go via them then you are paying their commission-that's the only way they earn. The best deals are almost always online via a cashback site, or by phone to Sky direct, so reset your VISA security details and go back to Sky.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

With that verified by visa box you do realise you can change the password before you enter it?
In fact you can change it 'on the fly' every time you use it, which doesn't really seem like an extra security level to me.0
