Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to get my MP3 music recorded from my lappy unto a cd in a format that will allow me to listen to it in my CD player?

Depends on what you have available: Windows Media Player, Nero, dBpoweramp....0

If your CD player doesn't play mp3 files (on discs), you will have to re-convert your mp3 into .wav files first and create an audio CD. As Donnie before me already mentioned, there are several programs available that can do that.
Be warned though if the compression bitrate of your mp3s is low (128-192 kbps) you'll get quite a crappy end result.0 -
I think she means to write, "poor end result".

Anyway 192kbps will produce acceptable results with .mp3 files. 128kbps for .wma.0
