Hi All,

Just wanting some advice on what to do with Vax vacuum accessories. The replacement Vax I received under guarantee is different so most of the accessories from the other don't fit, e.g., spare hose, hard floor tools which I've never used and are still wrapped. Would normally take stuff to a charity shop or advertised on Freecycle, but as these are unused accessories I wondered where best to sell.

Thanks

I would sell them on Ebay. Search for the item and see what others are charging. Then do them buy it now and undercut them by a few quid. There are other places to sell but if I was looking for spares for my vacuum, it'd be Ebay first.

I agree about eBay. I once bought a Mixed box at an auction- I wanted it for the china but under a layer of newspaper was a full set of Dyson tools in a sealed bag. I ended up getting nearly £30 for them, not bad for a £5 mixed box.

  • Recently sold a few myself....

Flexi crevice tool £7.99 inc delivery, Turbo tool £12.99 inc delivery.

Post using Hermes as most of these items are under 1 kg, cheap and tracked service.
