you tube problem

Simple but annoying problem. When I try to log in to you tube I don't get the usual format. Instead I get a list of recomended videos down the left hand side of the screen. If I click on one it is highlghted with a 'WATCH VIDEO' link beneath. Click on this and nothing happens at all.I have noticed that instead of the usual URL youtube.co.uk the bar shows as https:// m.youtube.com/?gl=GB&hl=en-GB. No other problem with the computer or watching videos on any other site (Daily Motion etc). This has only happened in the past week or so. Grateful for any advice.

If you are using a PC, clear your browsing history and try again.
If on a tablet or something, its probably something to do with the device asking mobile version of site by default.
You can override that but that depends on browser settings.0 -
