I'm really late today :-D didn't get time to write today with my first coffee as I normally do. House is really messy so did to do a top to bottom (once little ones in bed)

    Other things for this evening;

    - use as little electric and gas as possible
    - washing all put away
    - ironing all done
    - girls bags ready to go there dads tomorrow
    - heart frame up
    - shopping list for tomorrow
    - long soak in the bath
    - read at least one chapter before bed
    - all meals from stock
    - check banking/emails

That's it for now, may add a little more if I get chance later x

I am now officially ON HOLIDAY for 9 whole days!!!!

Today was a half day as I had to go to a meeting with DS's tutor about his attendance/timekeeping. Luckily (in an 'always look on the bright side' kind of way) he looked really ill so they could immediately see that, at least this week, he is genuinely ill. Apparently, when at college, he is a polite, articulate, well-mannered and capable student set to get a distinction as long as he catches up with 2 assignments which is in direct contrast to how he is when he's at home :rotfl:

I signed up for mystery shopping in the early hours of this morning (so I guess that counts as today) with an agency that someone mentioned on here that do lots of restaurants so I'm looking forward to some free meals out :) DH is buying Chinese tonight so i'm looking forward to a free meal in tonight too :D

In a moment I'm going to take a look at the MrT site and order just enough for my delivery saver to kick in (and all from the BOGOF or half price lists) and then this weekend, or maybe on Monday WHEN I"M OFF WORK (have I mentioned I have a week off? ;) ) I really WILL make it to Aldi to buy anything else.

I was tempted to visit the garden centre this afternoon when I got back with a fantastic gift shop full of lots of kitchenalia which I love but DH was home and wasn't up for going out again so he's saved me from myself.

I rang the estate agents to check there are no viewings tomorrow and was relieved to find that there aren't as I am looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow :)

Have a great weekend everyone :)

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All
Late check in from me today. Been a very busy one.

Little Pink Purse - well done on all your savings that's brilliant. And your credit card payment. Massive! Hope back to work is ok even though your not mad keen. Needs must I suppose! How are your kids doing now with helping round the house better?

Hugs to all the poorly people. Hoping this cold and wet weather goes away as that always helps.

Dawn - early night for you then. Are the grandchildren going home today?

FatVonD - I hope your 9 days off are awesome. Any more luck on house viewings?

Ziggy - Glad your theatre trip was lovely. And nice to have a surprise in the mail too!

Foxgloves - I was disgusted to see that we used £102 of energy for the last month. Up from £76 last. And I was so careful. I simply cannot wait till we can turn the ruddy heating off again. Have a lovely valentines day with Mr F. Was there any news on his job?

I'm working both days this weekend so may not get on but will do my best.

    Bob

Thanks Bob. The meeting mr f had to go to about further job cuts at work turned out to be pretty much useless. It was all very vague.....& everyone left feeling they barely knew any more than when they arrived! Still, we're looking forward to a nice Valentines weekend. Neither of us are intending to do any jobs except cook something nice to share. I've even de - cluttered tomorrow's 14 items a day early, lol, so I shan't even have to think about that.
Agree about the energy readings. I've cut back a bit this week, but I'm not entirely sure where this extra useage is coming from. We were well in credit as we went into the Feb-April quarter, but I was hoping we'd get a rebate. We won't at this rate!
