excess insurance for snowmobile use

I am planning organised snowmobile use on a winter holiday and note there is an 800 euro excess for damage to the snowmobile.
I have used excess insurance for car hire before but would welcome advice on availability to cover snowmobile excess

Whilst it may not be the cheapest, doesnt the hire company offer a CDW?
There are "blanket" excess cover policies available but they still normally only cover a set range of classes of insurance (home, motor, pet, travel, PMI etc) but it may be worth a dig around if one has a broad enough wording to include this.0
