Findit on campus - help

Hi

There is a new website on the market called findit on campus specifically for students in uk. Has anyone used the website before? Should I trust it? It seems that all payments are taking place through paypal, and its free to sell, and list items. There is also a good list of shipping methods.

If anyone has used it I would appreciate some help, it looks like you could save a bit of money by using it .

thanks

I'd put a small wager that you were an expert on the site you mentioned;)
The site is not currently online anyway, so pointless spamming it.

Someone had attempted to do it before on a .com site. It looks a bit of a mess, the only sellers are the person who set up the site and a few mates.
Someone needs to watch The Social Network.

  • Is that implying i should not trust it ?

No idea about trust. If you want to sell something, go to a proper site. This is a friends and family selling site, there's possibly up to 500 people who have looked at it, which usually equates to between 5 and 10 buyers. Free listings are folly if there are no customers.

If it's a decent site you could expect to see a few thousand student books listed, there are 29 and one of those is a road atlas.
