Hi... Has anyone had any luck with paying a defaulted account in full and managing to get the creditor to remove the default from your file?
Its a long shot, but ive learnt my lesson and want to make a fresh start!

Very occasionally people do report that they have managed to do this.
And in those rare cases it usually seems to be that it was something like a phone provider or catalogue company that was the creditor.
