Defaults after six years

When a default is six years old does all info regarding payments after the default date still show or does all info get erased. I am assuming a default from 2009 will dissapear this year including details of payments made to a creditor between 2009-2015 or have I got it wrong?.

Yes. Every trace of the account and history disappear. Literally. Anyone checking your report will not see any evidence that the account ever existed.

Good luck for the future. Remember to pay all your credit accounts on time and keep yourself on the electoral roll if you are looking to get a mortgage.

It is really nice when you get a fresh slate. :T
