Presumably it wouldn't, but some cards can offer 0% on both transfers and purchases: 0% Balance Transfer & Spend0

There are generally three different types of deals:- 0% APR on a balance transferred from one card to another;
- 0% APR on money transferring to a bank account;
- 0% APR charged on new spending.
The offers change from time to time. Balance transfers from one card to another usually offers the best deal.
Unless you earn a good salary and have a (long) history of borrowing money and repaying it, you're unlikely to get one of these deals.0 - 0% APR on a balance transferred from one card to another;
