Napier parking fine, should i pay ?

Hello everyone i am after some advice please.
A few months ago i recieved a napier parking ticket, which i paid online with my bank card.

Recently i got another parking ticket from napier for the same car. alot of the advice on here says dont pay unless you end up in court because they will never know who to issue the paperwork to.

My question is this; now that i have already paid a fine in the past and they have my car reg and name from my bank card, would i be safer just paying this fine or should i not bother ?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

you havent researched this at all

firstly, its not a FINE, nor was the last one, its an invoice

secondly, IGNORE has not been correct advice for nearly 2.5 years and the advice on here changed 2 years ago for england and wales, to APPEAL , so you wont find any recent threads or posts telling you to ignore, unless it was scotland or northern ireland

this PPC do take people to court, especially those who ignore them

its your choice as to if you appeal or pay, nobody here is going to tell you what to do, as an adult you make up your own mind based on the advice given

POFA 2012 can make the RK liable in england or wales , so forget about the not knowing who was driving issue , the last fool who thought that lost over 8 hundred pounds in court (see parking pranksters blogs)

please read the NEWBIES sticky thread, then decide what to do

Nowhere on this forum does it say anything like that.

You need to read the NEWBIES a sticky thread at the top of the parking board which will tell you step by step exactly what to do to appeal this properly and make it go away.

No you shouldn't pay, the likes of Napier, or the De Savarys, whether it be Nicholas De Savary, James De Savary or any one else linked with Napier parking.
please read the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

also as you have paid Napier parking in the past, you may want to head over to http://www.challengethefine.com top see if you can get your money back at some point.
From what I understand Napier parking are owned by the De Savarys, a quick search shows James De Savary and Nicolas De Savary as directors of Napier parking

  • Hi. Sorry if i am in the wrong place. I recently got a parking fine from Napier. I couldnt park properly as the person in the van next to me had his door open getting a child out. I parked about 6 inches over the white line (tyre still more over my part). I was wondering shall i pay it or appeal?...

you should really start your own thread

as for the decision , that is up to you

but as Nap tend to own their car parks you could be on a sticky wicket and could go to court within 6 years if you dont manage to successfully appeal it, or if you ignore it

the NEWBIES sticky thread is a good place to start reading

and its an invoice for breaking the rules, not a "fine" , you made that up
(check their paperwork, wont say "fine" anywhere on it)

no private company can "fine" you

I would not pay it. Your situation seems very defendable and indeed that very scenario was discussed by the Judges in the Supreme Court ParkingEye v Beavis hearing, as they mused how unfair it would be if a row of cars got PCNs due to one person forcing others to be out of line. So the Supreme Court's findings support your case. Not bad, eh?!

Napier are not big court players any more and we've seen more of theirs 'sold' to MIL Collections recently. MIL cases are pretty easily defended.

Start your own thread later on, if you get claim in 2017 or later. Keep ALL letters but do not pay nor panic.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
