Builder's Price book - which one??

Hi,
My husband is a self employed builder, mostly he subcontracts to other companies but he has decided to start doing his own jobs and advertising.
Alot of builders use a 'price book' in order to calculate a rough estimate of how much the job will cost.
Can anyone recommend an easy to use book? I have found some shops online selling the Spon's book and the laxton's book, but we really need to have a look to see which one would be suitable.
My husband will be mainly doing domestic building work and small builds.
Any advice or recommendations welcome.

We use Spons in the office - £135 though!0

£135 sounds like a bargain to me! hubby is a joiner and we have just started taking on building contracts also.
We 'lost' approx £2000 on the first job through mis-quoting.0 -
Yes i have looked at that one but was put off by the price. But i think it'll be worth it.
