Buyer saying items not received

As per the other thread- if buyer had opened a case on ebay you would have got a defect and ebay would have refunded the buyer.
Nope... if they left feedback stating they had the item INR would go with the seller.(just as good as a signature lol)
if a buyer acknowledges in feedback or in "my ebay" they have the item then ebay will take it they have the item.(if its sketchy then its a different matter) lol
Ebay do tackle blatant in your face fraud lol They just don't tackle anything they have to put a bit of effort into...lol0 -

Nope feedback does not count as arrival- I lost one on that a year or so ago. Ebay were clear- tracking to the address shown on refund buyer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Have you got a link to that new part of seller protection?0 -
I have never got a defect for a refund, and would suggest to OP that she checks her seller dashboard to check her standing before she allows buyer to go to a case and give her a defect.
If you refund without cancelling as "the buyer asked to cancel" you get a defect.
We have occasionally refunded due to out of stock and not cancelled which certainly leaves you with a defect. The cancellation form should now only show two options:
Buyer cancelled/issue with address
Out of stock
Whether it's right to mutually cancel the sale after refunding for an INR is another question, one down to the buyer and their feedback really. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

Alternatively go to the ie site and cancel as per the old system.0 -
You only have to google "how to get free stuff on e-bay"
It's all there, even a back room forum of tips and tricks to abuse sellers and fill your boots.
Leave Neutral feedback "claimed Items were not delivered -watch this buyer !"
At least it limits the thieving they can do to others.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

You can't leave a neutral for a buyer.0 -

So you can only leave positive feedback now ?
!!!!!! when did they change that.
If thats true just how easy do they want to make it let their customers get ripped off.
Then again they have forgotten who the customer of E-bay is, the one paying the fee's for selling.
They seem to treat sellers as pests and the buyers who pay nothing for the privileged as the customers .
You don't need to be a genius to work out why they are going bust.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

About four or five years ago.
They aren't going bust.
Perhaps you should keep yourself more uptodate.0 -
Indeed I thought you could only leave neutral and positive feedback.
I have revised what going bust is as well, it's not losing $41 million a year, thats doing well.
Although I dont know many businesses that can sustain such losses without going bust.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
