ikea will deliver up to a second floor... use their business service if you don't want to trek to your closest ikea - lets you order by email0

It's worked for me in the past for less amount but that was a few years ago.
OP have you tried this when the delivery driver turns up yet?
You need to offer them the money when they get there subject to them getting it into your home undamaged0 -
Money isn't going to work if, for example, any insurance policy isn't valid.0

Can you not purchase one larder fridge and one larder freezer and stand them side by side(you can have the door openings changed to suit when ordering). Surely they have pretty similar storage capacities, if not more?0

Funnily enough I trawled a few websites yesterday for just such a combination. What I couldn't find was a larder-style freezer which had enough capacity as well as ice-making facilities (in fact I don't think I saw one of any size that had an ice-maker). Either that or a combination which offered the same capacity and facilities as a pair. Maybe there's something out there but I developed a bit of snow-blindness after the first hour0 -

Siemens do one;

But it does seem to be the only one I could find. Is an ice maker that much of a deal breaker?0 -

That looks like just the job. Well, apart from the £1k price ticket! (not the sort of sum I would typically spend on a freezer). Obviously life can go on without an ice maker, but to spend > £1k on a fridge-freezer and finish up with one that doesn't have a feature that we use so frequently just seems wrong0
