What's your fixation with Blair? There's been more than one PM asleep on watch.

    What fixation?

Of the 340 odd posts I've made on MSE, how many of them contain any mention of Blair?
I'll save you the bother of looking. The answer is one and that one is a reply to a subject brought up by another poster.

One comment is hardly a fixation is it?

I think there's only ever been one Islamic terrorist attack in the uk.

You seem to have misread my post slightly. I didn't just ask about terrorist attacks did I?
But how many Islamic related terrorist attacks and other incidents were there in the UK before Blair got into power?
The "other incidents" covers amongst other things, marches and demonstrations, (remember the "Butchers of Basra" marches?), which started following the first Gulf war and have increased a lot since then?

None made up, and what about:

And before anyone reports this post for being anti-Islamic, it isn't.
I know that the very large majority of Muslims are peaceful and it's just the nutters who carry out or attempt to carry out terrorist activities.
  • There has been Islamic terrorism long before Blair got into power!

I voted for Blair to change the Thatcher years after forever being Tory. I've regretted it ever since. We went into a war that the people never wanted and have been stuck with Islamic retribution ever since

Good point and my bad for not explaining myself better. The retribution to which I was referring has been exceptionally increased since the non-WMD invasion sparked by the idiot Bush and illegally backed up by his poodle Blair due to the massive stirring up of a hornets nest. The Middle East is a very complex interwoven situation with tribe against tribe but still retaining a strong bond together against the evil West. None of this was taken into account before the invasion and it is obvious from the continued Sunni and Shi'ite retribution against mostly the British and US no contingency plans had been put into place.

We are now suffering from increased airport security as a direct result of Islamic extremism, many converts to terrorist activity, and we have no idea how many cells there are (MI5 reckon there are possibly at least 5,000 Islamic fundamentalists in the UK with potential plots in place at any given time, and then there are the planned terrorist attacks which are prevented by SS and SIS of which we never hear.

The terrorist who planned to blow up a plane with hidden explosives in his shoes means we now have to remove our shoes at airport security and now the Islamic radical chemical engineers have come up with a Semtex (C4) which can be odourless so that is why we now have to ensure our Smart phones are charged when travelling to be able to detect any hidden explosives.

We never had all this hassle before Blair.

I'd like to know too. 7/7 definitely happened. Lee rigby definitely happened, and the Glasgow airport one definitely happened as I was there at the time.

So, which one was made up?

@Hermione Granger - my apologies, I really should have said "what's with THE fixation with Blair" :-/
