Vanquis don't do faster payments? :/

I rang up today, with my OH, hoping to get the details for to him to pay the balance off with faster payments. But they say they don't offer faster payments as they aren't a 'clearing bank'.
Is this really the case, or was the person I spoke to just unaware of it?

Do they offer bank account details for bank transfer payments?

ETA:HOW TO MAKE PAYMENTS
Other banks:
online or telephone banking service. You will need the following details when you
contact your bank:
Your Vanquis 16 digit card number
Our sort code: 60-95-94
Our bank account number: 0000 0001
Make sure that the details are correct / up-to-date
Result of checking this sort code:Institution: VANQUIS BANK LIMITED
Faster Payments can be sent to this sort code.
I guess after receiving the payment they drag their feet for few days before crediting the money to a customer's account.0 -
Just entered what I think is their sort code, 60-95-94 and it says yes!
Edit. Cross posted with you.
Wow. I challenged her several times on it, as did my OH when I handed him over. Unbelievable! Or by the sounds of it typicalTo Do 2015

You can use FP to send them payments (I do it all the time) BUT they don't credit the payment to the account until AT LEAST 3 working days later.PLEASE NOTE:

It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

Thanks thebritishbloke. That's something i guess, although I don't intend on ever paying them interest.
But how can they get away with such a delay? I thought FP was a sort of guarantee? To Do 2015

Over the Phone or Online:
Via your bank’s telephone or internet banking service, you can make a one off payment or set up a standing order. Simply quote the following details: (1) Our sort code: 60-95-94, (2) Our bank account number: 0000 0001 and (3) Your Vanquis 16 digit card account number. Please allow 3-5 working days for your payment to reach your account via this method.
Despite what it says in their (possibly outdated) FAQ, is there evidence that Vanquis is delaying payments? If it does happen, a complaint would no doubt rectify the situation meaning that they don't get away with it.0 -
If this doesn't happen, why do they blatantly deny that they participate in FP then - as per the OP?0

They will take two days to credit your account but the transaction will be dated correctly i.e. the date you sent it.0
