Vehicle Recall Check
Here's a very useful site which I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know about until today.

Useful for folk who don't use main dealers for servicing.
Also moving house after buying a car.0 -
Like this one for our 5 series (impressively the only one there was!):Overloading may occur in the coolant circuit which encompasses the engine, radiator and heat exchanger. Should the heater heat exchanger be affected, hot water and steam may suddenly escape into the vehicle interior. This could seriously impair visibility through the windscreen. Injuries to the feet and lower legs may also result.
Apparently a new radiator cap cured it!0 -
Guess the car. When filling the fuel tank it is possible in extreme circumstances for static electricity to accumulate in the fuel filler tube. Should this occur a spark may jump to the vehicle body. This could ignite fuel vapour in the area causing a brief flash.0
