I am just letting you know if you get a delivery from Kinetic Logistics (07937 947950) which is a delivery firm which deliver for Costco you will get charged 25p text message (even if you get free texts from your provider) when you confirm the delivery slot, if you don't do this the delivery will be cancelled. I text them many times because I believed my texts was not working, but they was!!!

Pretty sure thats a Jersey number so not classed as a UK number for calling or texts

Just checked Magenta CodeLook, and you're right, it's a JerseyTel number. I had a JerseyTel SIM for a while when I was in Jersey, and they are definitely not included in UK allowances.


A quick nosey around the big boys' websites shows:
3 charge 4.9p per text to Jersey
EE charge 18p per text to Jersey
O2 charge their standard UK text rate
Vodafone charge 18p per text to Jersey

I'm surprised they use anyone other than UPS - thats who has always delivered my stuff from them (unless it was a big item).


Their customer service is outstanding though - just speak to them and I'm sure they would refund any charges due to having to call someone.

I sent them a email 2 days ago and hasn't got a reply yet so I phoned Costco and to be frank they could not care less.

I was surprised!!!
