Washing machine return

i bought a new washing machine which arrived 2 feb and we used it right away. the cycle finished and left a a pool of water in the door seal which , on opening the door, some of it (not much ) spills out down the front of the machine and onto the floor. it doesnt do this on every cycle but does leave the pool of water each time, which, if you dont wipe it away , gets pulled out with the washing with the same result. whilst i dont think the machine is faulty, i dont want this every time i do a wash so approached the compayn i bought it from who will take it back adn giv me a 55% refund , or send out an engineer to hceck if its faulty. if it isnt faulty - which id ont think techincally it is - they will charge me for the call out AND i have to take timeoff work to wait for engineer. i dont think that i should haev to do this, its not what i expected and i want to buy an altaernative. they say i cant return it as its been used. not sure how i would notice this if i didnt use it but what cna i do?

What make and model machine ?
Let's see if we can find other users complaining of the same
Are you sure it's absolutely level both ways ? Is it leaning towards the front and needs the feet adjusted at the front ?Ex forum ambassador

its definitely level.
am i resigned to keeping this machine and having to wipe out every time i open the door?0 -
Unless the seal has a bottom drain hole (rare, used to get them on Servis machines) then you'll get some water left in the seal. Therefore, you'll need to wipe it out!0
