Yet again, a lot of the problems come down to people not reading what they are agreeing to before ticking a box.
"Brightest Flashlight Free" app.
Needs access to:
Location
Photos/media files
Camera
Wi-Fi connection
Device ID and call information.
"High Powered torch" app.
Needs access to:
Device and app history
Location
Photos/media files
Wi-Fi connection
Device ID and call information
Etc.
Etc.
The access needs are shown before agreeing to install the app.
Why would anyone install such an program that is only meant to turn on an LED yet wants access to all parts of your phone or tablet?0
