Hmm,thanks for the reply Shortchanged,I have a desktop running Vista,a Laptop running XP,and Kindle Fire HDX.There is no way would I let these operating systems or their modern upgrades near my Banking Details.Given the stranglehold that Apple has on it's operating system,it's maybe not a bad thing in terms of security.
As for accessing MSE,you may be correct.

Apple is not as invulnerable as people think. There have been some noted security issues although apple like to keep these as quiet as possible.


The main reason why apple has very few viruses etc is simply due to scale of numbers. But as apple devices become more popular they are more and more likely to be targeted.

Apples refusal to acknowledge security risks could ultimately be its downfall.

Funny you should say that, because when I travel by rail using network rail wifi, on my ipad the only website that is not allowed, is MSE
