Just get rid. Try every item on. think- do I look fabulous in this? Think- If I was invited to a wedding would I really wear it or would I buy new.
NEVER let a stacker box or a vacuum bag into your house. The next step is being the hoarder lady.
Do you really have so many clothes or so little storage that you need to be seasonal? Very little is really seasonal in the UK (note no-one looks good in white jeans- no-one- simple)
Sell it or donate it.
Dont buy cheap buy well. Only buy an item in which you look really wonderful at this moment in time (never buy of when I have lost 12 lbs)June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550

I spent 50 quid on clothes last year and it would have been less if I hadnt lost weight but as I said before still too many, so better crack on and get some offloaded to charity.
I honestly have no idea what I spent on clothes in the past year, but it must be £1,000 a year anyway.
I Prob spend another £1,000 (or more....) on hair, nails, make up, skincare & beauty treatments.
Prob more like £2,500 on both
It sounds a lot like that!0 -
Strangely, since I've Kondo'd my home (and in fact could get rid of comparatively little, clothes-wise!) I have found a new joy in wearing all the items I never had done before, it is like unleashing a new wardrobe that was "too good to wear" previously. Wear it, use it up and enjoy it!
Oddly enough I have bought a few more bits since then: but all from the chazzer, and all of which I love and have worn regularly since I bought them.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Helps that I dont have a lot of spare cash
My biggest expense used to be my hair, Id get it highlighted 3 times a year at around 35 quid a time.
Then I started going to a local college where it cost 10. Now I colour it myself.
I get the odd massage/facial but I buy them from groupon, Ive got plenty make up as I dont wear it often, nail varnish from superdrug at a quid a time, which Im impressed with, great range of colours.
It is good having a v cheap charity shop on my doorstep, saves a fortune.0 -
I'm the same and this weekend I'm going to start a capsule wardrobe. Up to 40 or so items of clothing each season (many in rotation) and that's that. There will be stuff getting put on Ebay, some chucked out, some to charity and a minimal amount in storage (good quality stuff I know I will wear when I lose weight).
As mentioned above http://theproject333.com/ is a great site and I've also been reading a lot on http://www.un-fancy.com/category/capsule-wardrobe-101/ and http://www.coletterie.com/category/wardrobe-architect (I will not be making my own clothes though!).0
