Leave Virgin.... and they take their email address back!

I lost my Virgin email address when I left them, I had two email addresses, and Virgin was the one I gave to people who might spam it or send it on.
TBH I don't miss it and when my mobile contract runs out (I am counting the days) I will be off.

I agree. It shows their lack of business sense. For the peanuts it would cost them to maintain it, they would gain name recognition each time the email was used.

Have you seen Outlook?
One reason to switch: Google scans your emails to serve "relevant" ads. Who knows what happens to all that stored email... especially as they, like Facebook, want you to archive everything instead of deleting.

I'm not saying Outlook.com is the best, but it's a hell of a lot better than Gmails "email" - which let's remember, is still in Beta so if anything goes wrong, that's where they lay blame.
