No sign of Aqua Card

Hello!

I applied for my first credit card with Aqua and got accepted. After a week I received the CA, sent it off with proof of address/valid I.D etc. it's been nearly 2 weeks now and I haven't received anything else.

I did try and phone them but I was waiting in a queue for a long period of time before I got annoyed and put the phone down.

Is this normal period of time to wait for a credit card or should I be more concerned? I've not had credit since 2008 and hadn't needed it since. Turns out, my credit rating is poor because I haven't needed to borrow money!

You'd expect it in the next couple of days, I would think. But I would try to get through on the phone in case it has gone astray.

This is standard for everyone. You wouldn't give someone a job as a driving instructor if they'd never driven before.
