Today, received the sixpence for the xmas pud + recipe card from Royal Mint.
I know they don't make sixpences now but it's a really scruffy one , 1946 King George!!! I expected a nice shiney one!!0 -

Hi. no I did not test the shaver.Is some one else is testing pink ladies shaver from pinecone research? They are now asking to return the item as manufacturing wants it back after being tested. Do you obliged to return it? They said they will send pre-paid envelope and some compensation. I really like the shaver.
I would send it back when they send out the envelope. Hopefully you will not get it!

I got a sixpence too. Mine is 1914. I love the fact its old and got history. I wonder how many christmas puddings its been in before mine?!0 -
They would have used silver 3d pieces in the 1900's rather than 6d. I still have a number of silver 3d pieces that go in our puddings - one year my brother managed to swallow his one!0
