John lewis washing machine broke & they are refusing to repair or replace

    It's always been dodgy yet I've kept using it for five years and now it's completely shagged I'm going to bang on about the 'always been dodgy' bit because that strengthens my argument.

    Should have talked to them years ago.

    Should have talked to them years ago is the correct conclusion.

    You will almost certainly never prove the item was faulty due to an inherent fault after 5 years+.

    JL have an enviable reputation for customer care, one that is well deserved according to most reviews.
    They however aren't going to bend over where they have shown utmost goodwill and it's been rejected and I don't blame them.
    Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.

    I agree. They are being perfectly reasonable, you should have accepted their offer.

    And when it being moved around, did it have the transfer bolts to keep the drum in place used ?
